We’re proud that we get to design work that’s seen by hundreds of millions of people around the world. As we continue to grow, that level of exposure is growing. These days, if we can improve our clients work by just a fraction of a percent, that’s worth tens of millions of pounds. Details matter.
We’re looking for people to help craft those details – the flow of a sequence of screens, the animations and transitions between them, the micro interactions that barely get noticed but that make all the difference.
Like us, you’ll love collaborating. Our UX Consultants work in small teams with visual designers, front-end developers and our clients to come up with designs that make a difference. You’ll need to be comfortable playing an active role in workshops, sketching, and sharing ideas early in the process.
The role covers all aspects of UX – from researching users and designing with data to setting out an IA and creating user journeys. But while you’ll have skills in all these areas, you’ll have a particular interest in interaction design – sketching, prototyping, crafting the flows and the details of a great interaction.
We’ve offices in London and Bristol. The role would be based in either location.
• A portfolio of projects that demonstrates an understanding of layout, priority, interaction, flow and feedback.
• The ability to explain your ideas clearly, referring to general or project-specific design principles.
• Strong client relationship and consulting skills.
• Experience of developing IAs and user research.
• Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The right to live and work in the UK.
In return, we’ll offer you a great package with a bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, and benefits including a smartphone of your choice, a cash back healthcare scheme, a pension plan to which we’ll contribute, and a MacBook. We’ll support your personal development with an individual training/ conference budget of £1,000 per year, and, if relevant, we’ll support you in the writing of a UX book (so far, we’ve published 5 books between us with more on the way).
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV & examples of work.
